Felipe Cabrera Falls, Personal Bodyguard of “El Chapo” Guzmán

Mexican Army arrest "El Inge," lieutenant of the Pacific Drug Cartel

Members of the Mexican Army (SEDENA) arrest Felipe Cabrera Sarabia (aka) "El Inge" as a result of a military intelligence operation in Culiacan. Mexico City, Mexico. 26th December 2011.
The Mexican army says it has dealt a significant blow to the powerful Sinaloa drug cartel with the arrest of the cartel leader's security chief.

As part of the strategy against organized crime "Operation Laguna" and against drug trafficking in Mexico, the mexican army managed to arrested Felipe Cabrera Sarabia, (aka) "El Inge" lieutenant responsible for drug trafficking and violence by the criminal organization "Pacific Cartel or Sinaloa Cartel" in the state of Durango and southern Chihuahua.

The surveillance of his movements allowed the military to locate the building where he had taken refuge creating a delicate operation that required careful planning in an attempt to capture him in a safe manner to avoid collateral damage by this elite units of the Mexican armed forces. Once in custody he was released to federal authorities. It is important to note that during this operation use of force was not necessary to take him into custody.

Suspect Felipe Cabrera Sarabia also known as "El Inge" is being presented to the media in Mexico City December 26, 2011. Cabrera Sarabia is suspected to be the security chief of the country's most powerful drug lord, Joaquin "Shorty" Guzman. According to a spokesperson, Cabrera Sarabia was arrested in Culiacan, state of Sinaloa and is accused of kidnapping, extortions, arson and secret burials.

Sarabia Cabrera integrated a criminal group composed of his brothers Luis Alberto, Jose Luis and Alejandro, who initially engaged in activities of planting and cultivation of marijuana in the mountainous area of the state of Durango. Having differences with Mario Nuñez Meza "El M-10", leader of the criminal group "Los Ms" began a struggle for control of the production areas in southern Durango and Chihuahua, causing a high rate of violence that manifested itself through clandestine burials, kidnappings, extortion, burning of businesses and homes and displays of narco-messagese against the public and other antagonistic groups.

Operation "Laguna" was able to obtain information that led to the location and arrest of this important drug trafficker, an operation that has also managed to reach other past achievements in their effort to combat drug trafficking that highlights; the detention of 23 leading members of the leadership structures, and the disruption of operations of both "Zetas" and "Pacific Cartel" that included, drug dealing, the financial and communications in the region of the Laguna District.

These actions are made without distinction of what drug trafficking organizations they belong to, as they are all the same criminals seeking at all times to refine their operational capacity.

The extent of violence that Sarabia Cabrera was capable in order to maintaining control of his criminal activities allowed him to climb in importance within the organization of "Chapo Guzman and the Sinaloa cartel," managing to be instrumental in the movement of drugs, including providing security to El Chapo in its area of operation in the Sierra de Durango.

During the arrest of Felipe Cabrera Sarabia the military seized firearms, computer equipment and various false documents. The property and equipment were turned over to the Agent of the Federal Public Ministry assigned to the Office of Special Investigations into Organized Crime (SIEDO) in Mexico City.

  1. WAS CHAPO JUST CAUGHT??? I HEARD A RUMOR THAT HE HAS BEEN APPREHENDED BY AUTHORITIES IN SINALOA......IS ANY OF THIS TRUE???

  2. I find it very weird that awhile back Cartel de Juarez put up a narcobanner stating that the next two people to fall or be arrested is going to be either el flaco salguiero or Felipe Cabrera.

Both of them were leading the fight against Cartel de Juarez in Chihuahua and Durango, but I think Felipe Cabrera was definately the one Cartel de Juarez had to look out for.

How did Cartel de Juarez know this before it even happened????

I remember the narcomanta said something about how the US wants a high ranking boss from the Sinaloa Cartel and the next ones to go warned the narcomanta was either El Flaco Salguiero or Felipe Cabrera.

As we all know later after the narcomanta El flaco salguiero was arrested, and now Felipe Cabrera was arrested, both without firing one shot, both arrested in Culiacan,Sinaloa.

A little weird.Everyone knows that the cops in Culiacan work for El Mayo,so why would he actually allow for them to take him???Felipe cabrera and El flaco salguiero both worked for Chapo not Mayo.

I remember a while back when el cholo got into a gunfight with El chapo isidro people and el cholo lost and was even shot,so he went to the hospital in Culiacan, where supposibly he had been captured but then moments latter they admitted he escaped and was pick up by an armed commando, its obvious that the authorities let him go to El Mayos ppl,so why didnt they release this guy to El Mayo?? Or did El Mayo allow this guy to get arrested,or was this the Marines who conducted a private operation??

  3. So the two guys that were stirring up shit in Durango that the M's and the G.N. said they were challanging are cuaght. the narco banner from BB's March 29 of this year article state that both this guy and Flaco were causing a rift between CDS in Durango City. So they they both got caught it was probably a choice between a box or a cell. Look for Cds to concentrate on Sinaloa now and clean house up in Chihuahua,Durango and Sonora. Time to purge the ranks.

  4. About right now this guy is zip tied to a chair with jumper cables to his balls. Nice to see one of the bad guys go down.

  5. Chapo caught? No freaking way. Obviously, this guy was of no further use to Guzman. At this level, you're caught because you're supposed to be caught. What a joke. Legalize weapons for mexican citizens to protect themselves...until then no change in the blood bath against innocent civilians.

Sad, I'm Anglo but I love mexico and the mexican culture. Growing up in San Antonio and living in Laredo...I'm sad that I cannot go across any longer. Truly Pathetic.

  6. You guys dont get it these were Chapos people I dont think they are the ones behind most of the violence in Durango,M10 and his brother is the one that split from CDS.The Flores brothers admitted that EL M10 was the one that arranged the meeting with the two DEA representatives in the United States.

  7. They arrested the 2guys who were making noise and drawing attention in durango. Sure el flako and this guy have somthing to do with all the body pits found in durango, and taking the heat for it. This might end the internal rift in durango, and the cds stronghold can keep flying under the radar.

  10. This reminds me of all the #2 guys in Al quadea that we supposedly killed. Im sure this guy was very high up in the hierarchy, but to say he is the chief of security is a farce. he was maybe a REIGONAL security chief. I thought El Bravo was his head of security. who knows, but well see if any real big fish fall soon from CDS

  12. Hello US intelligence the more we put into the Mexico the more thugs are captured. Look at the number of thugs that have been captured since the US put our intelligence in the country over a year or so ago. Just think if we added some Marines to go with the intelligence Mexico would be safe in a very little time. These Drug Cartels think there tough they dont even know the word when it comes to US intelligence and armed service. Al Quieda in Iraq was wiped out and Al Quieda is basically done these guys made Mexican Drug cartels look like helpless children. Keep it up.

  24. Its funny how all this Sinaloa cartel member get caught in Culiacan and what a coincidence that they're never from Sinaloa, its always a member from a different state.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Think clearly... At every statement ever said by authorities" we have a dealt a big blow to" then whatever cartel it is.. But yet nothing has stopped.. Members are given to authorities to shut people up. So both us n Mexican government can hold head up and say they are doing good job and the war on drugs wasn't a lost battle.

Inge was a so/so guy. Easily replaced.

  27. @12:02 PM Al-Qaeda in Iraq was wiped for one simple reason, the Iraqi militias! they finally got fed up with Al-Qaeda and all its foreign members pushing their draconian rules on them so they decided to work with the Americans to wipe them out. they provided the intelligence and sent their own forces to battle the extremists. Mexico can do the same, it's the corruption that protects the drug lords not their guns!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Obviously chapo didnt trust this guy anymore...and the biz of drug trafficking/dealing Trust is everything..im positive the only reason he let these guys live is because at one time or another he was close to them

    ReplyDelete
  29. never allow americans to interfeer im sorry but nope. mexicans can resolve their own problems. and they are winning little by little destroying cartels till the last one is done. ofc mobs are not going to be wiped out but wont be as strong as they are now. UNTIL both usa and mexico legalize drugs until then all the blood bath will stop. and it better be soon ,the way it looks violence is starting to spill over.

A cadaver is found of an alleged capo of the Beltran Leyva's
    By: EFE / MEXICO, D.F.

Police in the central Mexican state of Morelos semi burned cadaver found today with signs of having been handcuffed and with information stating that the deceased is Reynaldo Coronado, the alleged kingpin of the Beltran Leyva cartel in the city of Cuernavaca, officials said.

The Morelos Attorney's Office said in a report that the body of a person between 20 and 35, was found this morning in federal highway Cuernavaca Tepoztlan in the state.

He added the cardboard maintains that the deceased is Reynaldo Coronado, alias "El Panchito" at that point of "being an extortionist," although the state Attorney clarified that the body has not been identified yet.

Several local media say that Coronado is one of the lieutenants of the Beltran Leyva group, and was identified with the alias of "H" or "The Engineer".

The Beltran Leyva group, which emerged after a split from the Sinaloa cartel, suffered a huge blow in December 2009 when its leader, Arturo Beltran Leyva, was killed in a clash with Marines, and in the last two years has suffered heavy casualties.

The killing comes amid a wave of violence between criminal groups fight for control in the states of Guerrero and Morelos, and is part of fighting in the country among various groups and against government forces that have left almost 50,000 dead in the last five years.

  34. Is this the same guy whom los M's and G.N. accused Felipe Cabrera Marquez as the one who is endorsed by Noe " El Flaco" Salgueiro that was heating up la plaza in Durango? 0r is it Felipe Cabrera Sarabia? Same guy or what? Didn't CDJ thank Noe " El Flaco" Salgueiro for info on CDS ? Or was it Mario Nunez Meza " El Flaco" or
"El M 11" ?? Can any one clarify about what's going on in Durango?

  38. The "drug war" is a deliberately created "political weapon" used to intimidate "we the people" into accepting an ever increasing tyrannical government structure that invades the whole of private life with little to no escape.

Even with alcohol now officially recognized as the most dangerous the most destructive and the most deadly drug of all the drugs, do not expect the misfits, morons and control freaks who desire a draconian police state to change their evil ways.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @ anonymous 12:39 who is the Salazar?

    ReplyDelete
  40. @12-27-2011, 12:37AM. The American Troops first have to wipe out the crackheads in the USA and make it a drug free place, that will make both countries safer. If there are no drug users in the USA then there are no drug traffickers in Mexico. There is no drug market at all.

  45. Los Salazar are a organization in Sonora loyal to Chapo and his crew. They are old school and new school narcos origins of Sonora. They basically traffic drugs and alied with Chapo.

Another thing, this article is mis-leading. If this was Chapos personal body guard of which I question, why would he be away from Sinaloa. This was another fish to fry and he was caught.

Several articles have mentioned how deep Chapos and Mayos structure of security is. There are narcos who know these guys that don't have information disclosed to them of their where abouts.

    Just sayin,

  55. Cabrera and salgueiro were just bad for bussiness end of story its clear that chapo and mayo favored los Ms for those regions it was them that were fighting against each other........funny thing is that all though they hated each other.....they were both under the leader ship of chapo and mayo

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ok here's the deal cabrera marquez and or sarabia is the same man that was fighting los Ms in durango el M11 and el flaco salgueiro are 2 different flacos one M11 is the leader of los Ms and salgueiro was the boss of gente nueva along with cabrera and his brothers they were sent to durango to help los Ms kickout los zetas from the state when they completed that GN started wanting to take over durango and that was not ok with los Ms so they started to fight each other but GN is a gang that works for el chapo and los Ms work for zambada but while fighting eachother they worked together against any rival cartel that wanted to come in the state of durango however things got way to ugly between them GN vs los Ms that rumor has it that mario nuñez meza went to culiacan and spoke with chapo himself and told him that los Ms were from durango and for durango and that they would take any outsider down no matter who it was or where it came from!!!! Because they were at chapos and mayos orders not anybody elses so it seems to me that this actually happened because not just one(salgueiro) but cabrera himself got arrested witch leaves los Ms incharged of what these to guys had

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ok los Ms work for el mayo zambada and GN for el chapo when los zetas tried to come to durango los Ms were incharge of kicking them out but they failed so they sent GN lead by el flaco salgueiro who by the way is not the same flaco as the one in los Ms the flaco in los Ms is el M11 who is brother of el M10 so salgueiro and felipe cabrera sarabia and/or marquez along with his brothers helped los Ms to take down los zetas and together they did. But somewhere along the way el M11 and cabrera had a disagreement and they started fighting eachother because GN thought that durango was there's and obviesly pissed los Ms off and so they declered war on GN but were still loyal to the sinaloa cartel as so was GN of salgueiro and cabrera......they just hated eachother so according to what people say el M10 spoke to el chapo himself and claimed that durango was his any day(chapos) and mayos but they would not allow anyone else and so it turns out they "capture" salgueiro and cabrera both public enemies of los Ms...so it apears that the big bosses dicided to give control to los Ms

  61. Its funny how many swear that durango is under control of Sinaloa cartel when the evidence proves otherwise, that zetas do in fact have control of the interior of durango along with the traditionally held territories that the Juarez cartel has always had. The fact is that durango like just about every state in Mexico has influence from the sinaloa cartel and its allies just the same as from the CDJ-Z-BL alliance. You armchair analists are not keeping up with the real world mexican war, get off the porn sites. Durango is a case where the sinaloa cartel is losing ground because of infighting while the Z-CDJ-BL is fighting them as a united front from all sides of the state. I guarantee you that once the majority of durango is claimed by the CDJ-Z-BL alliance the Sinaloa federation is done. History proves that whoever holds the northcentral part of mexico in war controls all of mexico. The question is who has the most control in the Chihuahua-Coahuila-Durango-San Luis Potosi- Zacatecas Region? Answer me this and you have an answer to your dilemma.

    ReplyDelete
  62. You know you are right durango is an open field to any one that's got the power to take over but mainly because it is governed by el PRI so anybody with money buys anything there but going back to the cartels the thing is that because of so many alliances and all of the may splits every thing is so messed up every where not necesserly just durango you got to remeber that LA FEDERACION was the most powerfull cartel ever assembeled MZ,CHAPO,BL,CDJ,

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yeah La Federacion was the most powerful cartel in the early 2000 but you gotta remember that it was set up like this by chapo through the debrief that he received from US intelligence so that in excahnge for his freedom Chapo could provide the means for the US to bust the members of the Federacion that weren't Chapo. Shit even Mayo was given up by Chapo but he got lucky and excaped. Vicente didn't trust Chapo from the get go and he is still free. Beltran Leyva's found out a little too late about Chapo's loyalty to outside interests and as a consequence suffered losses before they put their plan into effect to seperated themselves from la Federacion. Cartle del Golfo was dupped into an alliance that has essentially decimated their power. Nacho Coronel was offed while at the top and growing in power through his meth operations. GN from Chihuahua and Durango have been turned in. Only the Z's did not get hoodwinked and they are fighting from a different point of view than the rest of the traditional cartels, which is a serious shortcoming and the reason why it is beneficial for the CDJ-BL alliance because when power shifts to PRI hands both Carteles Unidos along with Z will be the scapegoats and the figure heads will remain in power with their traditional strongholds in place. Nothing will change just a new mask will be placed on the ugly face of Mexico's organized crime underworld.
