Banners appear in Sinaloa morning after deadly ambush.

PRESIDENT CALDERON, do you want to end the violence? Stop supporting CHAPO GUZMAN. That's the solution

MALOVA, don't mislead the people. All the violence in Mazatlan is because you are helping CHAPO GUZMAN take over the plaza. HOW MANY OF CHAPO GUZMAN'S PEOPLE HAVE YOU ARRESTED? (Malova is a moniker for Governor Mario Lopez Valdez of Sinaloa)

Another banner, not photographed, read: Chapo Guzmán, ni con el gobierno de Malova apoyándote haz podido, ahora vamos por ti viejo traidor.

Chapo Guzman, even with the support of Malovas's government you have been unsuccessful. now we're coming after you, old traitor.

The morning after 12 members of an elite state police unit were killed in a highway ambush in Sinaloa, “narco” banners addressing President Felipe Calderon, Governor Mario Lopez Valdez and Joaquin “el Chapo” Guzman Loera were unfurled in the 4 main cities of the state.

The banners were hung early Saturday morning in the northern municipalities of Guasave, where the deadly ambush occurred, and Los Mochis; in the centrally located state capitol of Culiacan; and in the southern port city of Mazatlan.

The banners appear to be authored by the still powerful remnants of the Beltran Leyva Organization and are directed against the President of Mexico and the Governor of Sinaloa whom they accuse of being in the service of their hated enemy El Chapo Guzman

The northern region of Sinaloa is the stronghold of Beltran Leyva loyalists who call themselves La Mochomera or Los Mazatlecos and are headed by “El Chapo Isidro” Isidro Meza Flores. This faction remains loyal to “El Mochomo” Alfredo Beltran Leyva, brother of the deceased “El Jefe De Jefes” Arturo Beltran Leyva and Hector Beltran Leyva, head of the Cartel del Pacifico Sur that operates in the southern states of Guerrero and Morelos.

Another leader of Los Mazatlecos, Geovany Lizarraga Ontiveros “El Desconocido” or “El Tortillero”, was arrested in May during a Grupo Elite state police operation in Los Mochis.

Mazatlan and the adjoining state of Nayarit were previously strongholds of the Beltran Leyva Organization but the area is being hotly disputed by the Sinaloa Cartel. In Mazatlan and Nayarit the Beltran Leyva loyalists are supported by Zeta gunmen.

Earlier this month, a decapitated body and messages signed by “Los Zetas y Beltran Leyvas” that threatened the Governor of Sinaloa and the Mayor of Mazatlan were deposited in the main entrances of the Mazatlan offices of both El Noroeste and El Debate, two popular Sinaloa newspapers with statewide circulation.

The contents or photographs of those banners were not released.

In a bid to keep the Beltran Leyva Organization alive it is believed that El Mochomo continues to lead what remains of the cartel while incarcerated in the Puente Grande federal prison in Jalisco through encrypted messages delivered by his legal group that he consults regularly.

  5. Wasn't el Mochomo already extradited to the US? Second los Beltran Leyva are a bunch of dumba##es thinking that causing more violence will stop the government from going after them. Apparently they didn't learn after their big brother Arturo Beltran Leyva was killed. Hector get ready to meet the devil you dumb f**k because death is coming to you soon!

  6. No man, Alfredo is in Puente Grande.

Also Samuel Lizarraga Ontiveros "El Tortillero" still free.

  7. WHERE ARE ALL THE SINALOA CARTEL FANS AND SUPPORTERS??

    ReplyDelete
  8. I really don't know what Hector Beltran Leyva is up to, I think CPS died as El Negro was captured, and now it's just Beltran Leyva again, I get the feeling Beltrans are still fighting in Acapulco, I think the whole skinning bodies thing is them. We need an update on the Beltrans as a whole, although the northern Sinaloa faction is well documented.

  9. Gerardo, Thanks for posting up this article. I guess my question about the government helping the Sinaloa cartel has been answered.

To be frank, it is quite disappointing if the central government plays favorite with certain cartel. If this is true then a lot of people died for nothing more than the interest of certain powerful individuals.

  10. Haha what happened to all those ppl that thought chapos ppl are invincible Bulletproof!?? Haha about time you guys get to see the reality chapos ppl are getting their ass kicked in Sinaloa and that's the truth like marginalia said not even with the governments help haha poor chapo.I remember when he used to send a group of sicarios into guasave haha they thought they were invincible all of them with X on the side of the cars and then they would battle it out with chapito isidro and then bamm they would all lose.I guess chapos like I'm not sending more sicarios cus they always end up dead now he's using the government as sicarios What an embarrassment!!!!!

  11. Something I have notice is Beltran leyva are defending their territory but have yet to make an offensive, maybe their waiting for the right moment. This is real interesting I wonder what kinda offensive it going to be and where,Most likely culiacan I can't wait, now it's chapos turn to feel the heat constantly in his own city. In the narcomanta it says now were going for you chapo so I wouldn't be surprised if a major offensive took place soon against chapo.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Now it's your turn chapo to feel the heat just like so many innocent people have felt in ciudad Juarez thanks to a greedy bastard named Joaquin Guzman !!!!!I hope Beltran leyva get you and make you payy for most of what's going on in Mexico cus your the main one causing all these murders.Your time is coming to an end chapo

  15. I'm from a plaza that cds has in durango. I can't speak for everywere else but things are calm there. Last year 1 cartel member got beating up for not helping harvest marijuana . And 2 guys (a nephew and uncle) got beating up by the cartel becouse they started to break into houses. These guys would help the mafiosos out so they beat one of there's. I didn't witness it but it was in the middle of a plaza were they got it. And the dudes looked beat up when I saw them few days later. The cartel set up shop about 4 years ago and no ones been kidnapped, extorted, or been abused by the cartel. They maintain peace. And people have lost there initial fear for them. Most of them are from durango or sinaloa.

3-4 weeks back in la sierra de tamazula durango, a beltran leyva was killed. He was from tamazula and I know beltranes have fam there, I thought it'd be bigger news.
9 55 el teo who worked for cds in tijuana made a lot of chaos there. He kidnapped and was really violent.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Keep entering the plaza chapo the problem is not that, the problem as we can see is leaving alive.La Mochomera bien activa aaa-Huevo.

    ReplyDelete
  22. El Teo, I think was kind of a 'pawn' between CDS and Inge, Sinaloa gave him just enough to go after CAF, but I think he lost their confidence, and before, or right after he was captured they made the agreement with Engineer. Teo, never was a 'lieutenant' of Sinaloa, just an independent group of CAF that didn't want to follow Sanchez Arellano.

Anyway, I got sidetracked, banners went up all over Juarez today, or yesterday, I wonder if it's coordinated or just coincidence, as Beltran, Z's, and Juarez are supposed to be united.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @9:55 you say fuck ciudad Juarez. Why would you say that??,it only shows how ignorant you are. Thanks to chapo Guzman the beautiful city of Ciudad Juarez it's how it is.Pinche perro del chapo tu final ya esta cerca.En chihuahua se le apoya a Los Beltran.

  24. How does it feel chapo to get contested in your own state???Its not the same to send sicarios into Tamaulipas,Sonora,or Chihuhua huh.Now you'll finally get to taste some of your own medicine.Hope you really like it you piece of shit.

  25. PUTO Chapo tracionero! Hes the worsst type of Mexican, greedy diloyal to his own peoples! His time is coming! Sinaloa cartel claims they just wanna work but in reality they are the main cause of all the innocent people dying everyday across mexico. Arriba los Zetas and Beltranes, the only 2 cartels with real balls! like them or not, Zetas bring the real deal, not like these putose anthrax. Never heard of an anthrax attack anywhere else than culiacan.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Not to mention Juan Jose Esparragosa Moreno "el azul" now that guy is also super low key his name is rarely mentioned.

  34. AMAZING!! Now I see why Mexican`s are a screwed up race of people. They actually see one blood thirsty, money hungry, greed starved person as "GOOD", over another on of the same because he does "good" things for the people. Unreal. So to get this straight, as long as the top Capo buys things for the people, he gets a pass for killing "non-innocents". If a top Capo kills "innocents", well he isn`t worth a hoot. Do I have this correct? So a murdering, greed hog that keeps amassing millions for himself and kills poor mexicans that lug backpacks across deserts for a few pesos is a "good guy"?I`d be ashamed of my race if they sold themselves out for so little. The poor native american indians really didn`t have much choice in what happened to them, but Mexicans did have a choice, and they chose to turn a blind eye as long as they got a pound of flour or some seeds to plant with

in a way you have a point..it seems that just about the whole country is complicit in the greed and corruption that is the governing mentality in todays Mexico..but in a greater way you are ignorant of the true situation in Mexico..

have you forgotten the Aztecs...who even though they did have an ordered society preyed ruthlessly on the smaller tribes...

and then after that the Spanish ..and they were exceedingly kind ..and left Mexico an ordered law abiding society complete with good government and a stable cooperative society...and after that the descendents of the Aztecs and the Spanish , who spent every waking moment trying to spread equality and prosperity among the smaller browner peoples of Mexico...

    BRRRRNNNNKKKK!!!!...WRONG!!!!

you are blaming the victims ..that is not to excuse or justify what is going on ...but it is not so black and white as you present it

i admit it is hard to look past some culero busting out your window to steal your jacket...but desperation breeds more desperation..it is a real shame

it dosen't make me hate the arrogant strutting criminals any less...i just try to see why...and give more respect to the majority of the good, honest, sweet natured ,persevering people of Mexico

    ReplyDelete
  36. 8 15 You should be more suprised by your ignorant post. There are 100 million people in mex, and cartels and there nuthuggers don't make up even 1% of the population. There are soldiers tracking and killing the narcos. Civilians posting twitter updates were battles are going on so no one gets cought in the cross fire, people calling in with tips knowing how dangerous I could be. Mexico has a cancer and there fighting it in as many fronts as they can. The number of federal police has jumped up, that shows you people have balls and more and more of them are helping fight this war. And this is a war against an enemy who doesn't clash directly with the troops, instead they use guerilla tactics. The war is fought to help the country within its border, no ones being sent half way across the world to fight a campaign of "freedom". The narco blogs like mundonarco.com, blogdelnarco.com, and this one are great tools to educate and inform people, ran by everday people of mexican descent or non mexican descent. There are few turning a blind eye but even more with there eyes open. Please but more random and ignorant post so I can correct you again. Schools out..

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ding ding. Schools back in. Why let it get this way in the first place? Why the complicity? Why the impunity? GREED. That's why. It doesn't matter the color of skin, it's about a mindset and mentality as a whole. Gimme gimme gimme and if you don't, well, I'll just steal it. ALL races have their black sheep. Why so many in one country? That's all I'm asking. Just explain the mindset to me, please cause I don't get it.

To all those ppl that don't speak Spanish Beltran leyva didn't ally with the zetas, carillo for fear of chapo but it was actually because they already knew a greedy bastard named chapo Guzman was gonna try to move in on their territory. It's obvious the one causing the violence here once again its chapo.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Were tired of this piece of shit named chapo thinking he owns the whole freaking country.Who sends sicarios all over Mexico just to murder ppl and of course innocent victims also get hit.Beltranes do all of Mexico a favor and kill this piece of shit!!!!Since our corrupt goverment is worthless.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  41. Dammm mochomo, barba cerrada, calling the shots from prison!!!!!! now thats cool.I guess that guy has alot of money cus eventhough Mexico is corrupt you have to have alot of money to get away with something like that.I think what's his name osiel Cardenas did it too for awhile until he got extradited but supposedly Alfredo Beltran didn't get extradited, then that means he either has more influence in Jalisco or alot of money.

    ReplyDelete
  42. That shit pisses me off Beltran leyvas did kill chapos son Edgar Guzman and they also killed manuel Torres son in culiacan. And everyones is all like aww I can't believe beltranes would do that to their sons, don't you guys realize that both if these idiots were all in the game yes they rode around in commandos and thought they were the shit!!!Just cus there parents were somewhat influential. What I think happened was that beltranes were cruising through culiacan patrolling and they saw them and immeadiately thought it was rivals and they took them out. Also the Sinaloa cartel I think killed Arturo Beltran son santiel Beltran after Arturo dyed because if he was still alive chapos head would of rolled on the ground for sure.

  43. 12 12 RE: greed is universal, there is just as much here. Its just covered here. There's plenty of u.s banks here that have washed millions of dollars. That mindset is everywere. The gun owners selling 15 semi auto weopons to a person at once without raising a flag. Ambition isn't bad but greed is. There are plenty of corporate companies screwing us here as we speak. Things were calmer when the gov didn't tackle corruption, now that they have violence has flared. Could be becouse the cartels are desperate or they were so well entrenched. Its a valiant effort in my eyes to try to clean up the country on state, federal, and milatery levels.

    ReplyDelete
  44. "They're are soldiers tracking and killing the narcos" haa that was pretty funny.Although everything else you said was right.@9:54am

  45. Chapo is the main one behind most of the violence in Mexico haha but you guys should hear his corridos they for some reason seem to not mention that ummm I wonder why maybe they just forgot or they're trying to pose a good image for all those that hear it because alot of ppl hear it,it comes out on the radio.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @1:46. Your right. Greed is everywhere. Even the USA, but I see no severed heads, dismembered bodies, skinned faces, complete slaughters of ranch hands, burning down businesses, shoot outs in broad daylight,,,,,and on and on and........do you not understand my question earlier?

    ReplyDelete
  47. 2 04 non corrupt ones I mean. Unlike the ones in santiago papasquiro dgo. Who are at the base of the sierra and can't stop weed and opium from coming down from la sierra. Its a major route.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Why are white people always turning and flipping things to fit their agenda; what make you whites turning a normal discussion into a skin color/race hatred ranting? Mexicans are NOT looking the other way, every day we talk about this violence and how we are going to resolve this problem. People are always "snitching" on the narcos everyday hence that's why you see confrontation between the narcos and the military, or how the military finds stash houses/kidnapping houses etc. all of this because the citizens contact the military. How about the drug addicts in America supplying money to the cartels or Americans gun owners allowing straw purchases/ATF letting guns into Mexico?

    ReplyDelete
  49. 3 46 that's mafia warfare, trying to show who has the biggest balls. They seem to me that they just wana get attention and scare other guys. If we saw death everyday and did nothing but drink and do coke all day we'd all be messed up also. Chicagos al capone days are sort of what mexico is facing in a smaller scale. Lawlessness and corruption, but people are putting themselves on the line to clean it up.

  50. Beltran lovers: Explain why it was ok for the beltranes to send zetas to kill a complete innocent family after there marine son killed arturo beltran? Tachio torres and chapos son I can understand but why a defenseless family?Nutless cowards

    ReplyDelete
  51. @July 18, 2011 11:32 PM

I guess they killed them for show. "Think before you shoot at us."

    Animals.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The reason why they killed the family of that one marine it's because its a mafia and Arturo had a deal with the goverment everyone knows this, when the government didn't follow what they had agreed with, and killed Arturo it was like a stab in the back for the organization so they had to payback somehow or else they will lose respect. Its all part of the mafia someone plays you dirty you have to get back somehow and unfortunately they chose that marines family.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wait so just like the Mexican government didn't play by the rules, the beltran didn't play by the rules,is that what you meant?@12:57pm. It's still Pretty messed up but it makes sense in a way, that's what the government causes when it negotiates with these vicious criminals.

    ReplyDelete
  54. 12 57 cowards that's why, easier to kill a defenseless innocent fam. If there so ballsy they shudve attacked a marine base. So the marines family is justified to kill beltran aunts mothers and cousins? Even if they have nothing to do with it. That's some low life stuff they pulled worser then the supposed betrayal by el chapo. Beltranes bola de culonez

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yeah marines are justified to do that,if they could,I mean that's what they get paid for to kill. The reason why they didnt attack a marines base is because not all the marines were involved it is said that that marine was the one who killed Arturo beltran.@2:04pm

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thank the Mexican government for Protecting the identity of this Marine that was killed in battle.Bullshit none of this would of ever happened if the Mexican could protect it's ppl.

  58. Whoever here thinks the Beltran's killed Chapo's son have no clue what the hell you are talking about. I will tell you that Beltran's had nothing to do with it and it's well known in Culiacan who killed him. Also, Culiacan is a ticking time bomb and not because of the Zetas, Carrillo's, or Beltran's...if you want to know investigate the issues currently going around and you will be surprised.

  60. Beltran didn't kill chapos son wow you should get more updated and don't say it was mp,Macho prieto the one that works for mayo cus it wasn't him it was el MP,el borrado de Los Beltran.and let me guess that tinking time bomb that your talking about is macho prieto haha am I right? cus they said he separated from the Sinaloa cartel and it's now with Beltran carillo zetas yeah macho prieto the one that used to work for mayo,he's is also the one who controls culiacan and Mexicali am I right.Damn so its like getting alittle bit more even for the beltran cus everyone knows macho prietos ppl are the most elite sicarios that mayo has and he separated it's gonna get real ugly,Gonzalo inzunza is his name supposedly he is the one who is an expert in bazookas.

    ReplyDelete
  61. The other rumor going around is that mayo zambada doesn't wanna be part of chapos team nomore and is either going independent or against him, either way chapo losing alot ppl.but I think the whole macho prieto splitting from sinaloa cartel is more true then mayo but you never know.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I don't know about macho prieto, they've been saying that for a while. I'm sure it would've been in banners or somthing. Or people dying with narco messages or somthing.
