Piedras Negras, Coah .- Units of the Mexican Army, following a tip by an anonymous caller, discovered a “narcofosa” (clandestine cemetery) in the municipality of Guerrrero, Coahuila, which may contain the partially cremated remains of up to 38 victims of the abductions that swept the nearby cities of Piedras Negras and Allende earlier this year.

The municipality of Guerrero is 50 kilometers southeast of Piedras Negras and lies across the Rio Grande from Maverick County in South Texas.

The clandestine cemetary contains 38 holes a meter deep at two sites located on a property off a rough dirt track 6 kilometers from the river road that links Piedras Negras and Nuevo Laredo.

Fragments of charred human bones, metal buttons and belt buckles and spent bullets have been found in the holes that have been excavated as of Friday morning.

Three pierced metal drums of the type used by organized crime gangs to cremate human bodies were found at the scene. According to investigators traces of diesel fuel were found on the drums and the ground where they lay. The site where the 38 gravesites were located was also covered with a large quantity of hay to simulate a cattle pasture ground.

Forensic experts from the Coahuila Attorney General’s office are conducting investigations at the secene guarded by an Army unit.

  2. No their not. According to Ardent, It is safe as a baby in it`s mother`s womb. I told everyone already that the birds are chirping, the sun is shining, the tacos are still crispy, the enchiladas tasty and all is well in Mexico. It`s the NEW tourist destination. (Soon to be the tourist destionation of the US military that is). All of the above was said with sarcasm. I`m certain Ardent realizes that, but I had to point the fact out. It`s sad. We all get on BB and argue and rant and rave and poke jokes at each other and what not. I`m guilty as the next guy, but the reality remains that people are getting massacred at an extreme rate with extreme violence. Some that chose to be in the drug world, and plenty that had no choice. It`s amazing how cavalier we`ve become about the abhorrent killing fields that are Mexico. May the higher power you pray to be with you. I personally will pray to God that Mexico finds it`s way, and soon.

  3. Yes, people are getting killed all over in Mexico, and Ardent has never said that that was not the case.

Yes, you would like that to be the case, no doubt? And Ardent doesn't. Can we agree to disagree here, AnonMoe. After all, we're both gentlemen.... Your rush to get troops down there is normal USA Today fervor, and who is little ol' I to oppose such? If I don't like, then I should just get up and move to North Korea, right?

  5. Are those pieces of human remains linked to the families that were abducted last March? If so now their family members can have closure in thier hearts. God give them strenght to overcome their tragedy (loss).

  6. The toll of the innocent missing may surmount more than 300. This number includes people from Muzquiz,Sabinas,Rosita,Allende,Morelos,Nava,Zaragoza,Acuña,Guerrero and other small towns. They are just starting to uncover the very tip of the iceberg.

May the family of the innocent ones, find closure one day soon enough. Gerardito Heath Sanchez....Eduardo Avila.....Don Armando Gonzalez and sons.....The whole Cruz family, and many many innocent more. Just to name a few...a very few.

  7. Makes you wonder so close to the Border, how many U.S. Citizens are in on the masacres and cross back after doing this.

  8. I'm american and I most def don't want our troops down there. We r already in iraq & afganistan where we don't belong. As bad as the situation is in mexico, the spillover violence is negligible. Until that changes, we should stay out of it. I don't even agree with merida initiative. The mexican government are the last people we should be sending money to.

  11. According to the Maverick County Sheriff himself in Eagle Pass (right across from Piedras Negras)....in April and May, there were 35 to 45 reported and confirmed kidnappings from people ranging from 16 to 30 years of age. The local media do not and will not report such incidents because they are either threatened or paid to not do so. It is ridiculous how much crap is going on in Eagle Pass alone. Investigate the eagle pass online media outlets and you will find stories, blogs and actual interviews stating the facts. People are already getting phonecalls demanding money or ELSE.... well, you all know the rest.

  12. Ardent. I do respect your views even though I don't agree 90% of the time, hut as someone that has been touched in a horrendous way by the wars, I want our troops home , worrying about our country not anyone else's. Can we agree on that? I DO NOT WANT ANY TROOPS ANYWHERE BUT HOME. May the lost RIP and the wounded heal mentally and physically. They say war is hell, I say it's worse.

  13. Are you serious??!?!? 4:19??!?!? They're human remains don't be so ignorant and your parents must be playing blind man because I live in Eagle pass and I was in Guerrero when the soldiers got there and they dug alot of holes. Zetas are taking people left and right in piedras and surrounding Ejidos

  14. The only good thing about all of this is that the Zetas are nearing their end. They have cause way too much embarrassment to Mexico and now the US has an excuse to Persue them as well. So the loser nobody who said arriba Los Zetas is just a nobody who supports men destined to burn in hell. Get a job loser

I'm glad you said it, because Ardent is such a terrible person that he accuses those of us in the Military of killing just for the fun of it, but he just does not get it.

War is Hell, it is the most surreal thing you will ever do, you feel like the world around you is gone, unreal, non-existent, and insane, and the only sanity that keeps you grounded is thinking about Home and your Real life.

Ardent has mentioned that Soldiers that come Home with PTSD are ill because they love to kill and the lust to kill drives them insane, he is wrong, PTSD is caused by the trauma from the unnatural act of killing and a separation from reality, in other words you can not cope with killing or seeing people get killed, your simply not wired to handle it, so you drink, do drugs, and become violent in hopes of separating yourself from the killing.

What ardent still refuse to acknowledge is that no one, and I mean no one hates War more than a Soldier, why ?, because we are the ones that have to die, not ardent.

  17. Yes we can certainly agree on that...

I am very sorry for your personal losses in however a manner they might have occurred. I definitely am not anti the US soldiers who sometimes have made very dangerous choices by even joining up with the Pentagon in the first place. It's just theself righteous militarism of many of the current soldier types and their families that I do have a real problem with though.

You don't seem like that type at all, Anonymous 8:22. Best wishes to you in any case.... A much decreased war budget and a military that is not gung ho to go all over the universe for the Big Boys is definitely something I can agree with you about. This idea that we need to be arming and training the Mexican military and helping the government there in their internal fights is something that is real scary that our own US Big Shots might want to keep pushing us into accepting passively.

  18. Ardent is fear mongering under the Americans and as far as the Mexicans go: he does not care. He is like all those who are afraid their tourism or other business will suffer so he maintains; "no pasa nada".

I bet he could not even find Mexico on a map.

  19. I do agree with the quote "It is safe as a baby in its mother's womb". A baby in the womb is not safe at all and the laws do not protect them either. Just like what its happening to the people.

  20. Not only can I find Mexico on the map, I can even sing parts of the Mexican national anthem. Can you do that, Anonymous 11:27pm?

  22. Anonymous 10:31 pm, where in the Hell did I say the thing below you accuse me of saying? Why do so many US Far Rightists just make things up like this and attribute them to others? This is a pattern I see repeatedly from BB commentators.

'Ardent has mentioned that Soldiers that come Home with PTSD are ill because they love to kill and the lust to kill drives them insane, he is wrong...'

If I have said anything about PTSD in US troops, it was mainly that most soldiers I have seen given the now USA Today pc diagnosis of PTSD are really much more like just ordinary fuck ups and borderline trailer trash that the military took in. These fuck ups then go on and have the normal adolescent growing up problems that fuck ups have, of not being able to hold their personal relationships together though many or in their 30s, 40s, and even 50s! If they were civilians they would never even get seen by a shrink. Instead as relatively privileged uniforms called 'heroes' they get treated as poor guys and poor gals... ...boo-hoo-hoo.

See how different my actual opinions expressed before is from the caricature that AnonMoe guy has made them out to be. I never called any of the US soldiers 'insane' in fact. AnonyMoe just makes it all up whole hat and then attributes it to Ardent! It's total crock on his part... Dishonest you are to the core, Anonymous 10:31 pm. One simply gets tired of these scurrilous and dishonest personal attacks.

  23. I do think if you were their in the fight, with your band of brothers, Ardent, you might feel different. Yes, some guys that join the military do so cause it`s that or a life of screwing up, but you`d be amazed at what some of these guys have become since joining the military. Some are very productive members of our society. They`ve learned to adapt, overcome adversity without being violent or using violence as they might have in the past. I know you can watch a program on cable that follows soldiers and it appears that these guys are "gung ho" to go kill someone, but what you don`t see, what the media doesn`t show as per Uncle Sam being perceieved as weakness, is the guy crying on your shoulder cause he see`s a dead child. The guy who stood by an elderly ladies side for 4 hours waiting for someone from her family to come get her. You don`t see the "softer side" so to speak as the media isn`t either allowed or not going to show it , it could be perceived as weak, from our "enemies". And yes, unfortunately we do have enemies. I have actually made friends with people from different parts of the world that we`ve been to. Made some enemies their as well. Bottomline, I don`t want to see any killed, don`t want to kill anyone, and especially don`t want anyone in our unit to get it. But the bottomline is also that the boogie-man, he`s out there, and he`s looking to harm an American, or "westerner". Doesn`t matter what race, religion or how nice a person you might be, all they want is to be seen as a martyr by their comrades, so it`s die or die for them. I know this was long , but I just want you to understand that we`re not all some gung ho redneck that loves to kill. 99% of us may act tough on the outside so we`re "one of the guys", but most are crying and hurting on the inside I`ll assure you of that. Good Day Ardent. Keep safe. (you can count on that from us, even if we don`t know each other personally).

  24. Mario Alfonso Cuellar is to blame for all those innocent people killed. Heath, Cruz family and all the innocent children who lost their lives for Cuellar to turn himself in to the Dallas DEA. And Paola Cuellar waisting all that money her husband stole from the zetas. it has blood on her hands. Paola how does it feel not to have a heart. you have a husband in jail that you could see once in a while but how about your soul. Pobre Victor Cruz Jr. jugaba con tu hijo Aaronsito a Karate. como puedes vivir con tu consencia. fueras entregado a tu esposo a los zetas i no uviera muerto mucha gente inocente. Eres peor que una perra.....

  27. To both the rather decent Anonymous 8:07 and the indecent Brito later on, I don't go around gratuitously insulting US soldiers, as Brito claims I do. On the other hand, I do not buy all that baloney about the BoogeyMan being out there and that US Soldiers are the only ones defending freedoms in the US, and that they are all wonderful soldier heroes for going to other peoples' countries and fucking them up royal, while we civilians are drafted by the Big Business funded politicians into paying gadzillions of dollars worth of the planets' and our wealth away.
