Sicarios Killed in Guerrero were Part of La Familia

A few days ago group of sicarios engaged in a firefight with the Mexican military in Apaxtla de Castrejon, Guerrero.

In the confrontation the military managed to kill three sicarios, however it was unknown to what criminal group they belonged to. Authorities just recently confirmed that the dead were members of La Familia Michoacana.

They also reported that four women were apprehended and are identified as Felipa Flores Quezada, 27, Edith Parra Pineda, 19, Leticia Morales Vallejo, 18, and Ausencia Elimas Viveros, 19. The women said that they only prepared the food for the sicarios. It was also learned that three juveniles are being held.

The military managed to secure five AK-47 assault rifles, seven AR-15 assault rifles, an AR-180 rifle, a 270mm caliber rifle, five 12-gauge shotguns, three .22 caliber rifles, 12 semi-auto handguns, a 22-caliber submachine gun, a fragmentation grenade, ammunition, magazines, 20 military-style shirts, 20 military-style pants, 15 military-style hats, three bulletproof vests, 11 tactical vests in black, seven green tactical vests; 1,026 kilos of Cocaine, 9,376 kilos of opium gum, radio equipment, and six vehicles.

  2. So, CIDA is fighting La Familia in Acapulco and Guerrero? Or is La Familia just operating on the outskirts of the city? At one point, I saw that La Familia and CIDA were working together, or had a pact.

  3. How come every picture of a deceased sicario looks completely staged? When someone is shot and killed they don't look like that. They all look like they were placed in that position and a firearm put in their hand. I can sympathize with the Mexican Marines in that these guys will never face justice in the Mexican court system, but seems like amount of street justice going on.

Why don't you lighten us on how a dead sicario is suppose to look like? You know since your probably a forensics expert or killed so many sicarios haha...freakin arm chair intellects think they know everything haha

  5. @May;

Actually, I agree with Anonymous...the photos look kind of staged.

Look at the dust on the front of the second and third dudes. It suggests both men died face down, and then were rolled over for the photograph.

Same thing for the position of both men's rifles. Notice that both men are just barely touching their guns. If they had been shot, the guns probably would have been flung away as they fell.

I'm also surprised at the lack of blood. I thought that shootings result in a large pool of blood. Sicario #1 looks like he has a small head wound. Sicario #2 looks like he has a small chest or neck wound. I don't see any wounds on #3, but that could be the angle.

Look at how the rifles are laying next to the bodies, especially photo #3.

  6. He's got a point. The placement of the guns looks a little convienient for a photo op. Not saying that these guys weren't killed in a firefight, just the pics DO look a little staged.

  7. Is the 1096 ki's accurate, or a translation error? That's almost a ton. Not that it couldn't be, just a lot to be seized in a fairly common raid.

  8. yeah even the guy slumped over the vehicle was staged, I mean, they really went to great pains to place him in that position.......WHO THE FUCK CARES? They should paint sad clown faces on them and dress them up in tutus for all I care.

  10. It doesn't say 1096 in the above article it says 1026, this is from original article: mil 26 kilos de Cocaína

  11. ok, 1026/1096 not a big difference. It's still close to a ton, which is pretty heavy weight for a sicario cell living in some shack with three cooks.

  12. 20.000 pounds of opium gum is HUGE!

  13. Obviously staged but who gives a shit they were paid murderers so death is their reward.

  14. Staged photos makes you wonder just who these guys are. Were they murdered, innocents? Probably.
Why else would you cover it up with a staged scene. I would`nt trust the ones who claim that these are the bad guys.

  15. Clearly staged the photos as far as the gun placement. We'll never know who these guys really are. 3 guys with 34 firearms, 4 cooks, and 1000 kilos of coke? You'd expect some heavy hitters...who r these guys? Kinda shady
