Mexican Cartels Migrating to the USA

The emergence of a new cell from La Familia Michoacana calling themselves "Los Caballeros Templarios," The Knights Templar. Not known by most US authorities. A picture of the arsenal and propaganda seized by Mexican police.

Mexico's cartel members, their families and their associates have been moving to various cities in the United States along the border to live, to the extent that these criminal groups have expanded their operations on American soil, warned a declassified alert of the National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC).

The alert cautioned that efforts by Mexican drug trafficking organizations (DTO's) to expand their operations in the United States has been the cause of increased violence across the southwest.

Information from the Center Intelligence indicates that Mexico's cartels are operating in at least 1,286 cities in the nine regions.

Of all these cities, in 143 operations of drug trafficking are entirely controlled directly by the members of the cartels in Mexico.

It is noted that the Sinaloa cartel operates in at least 75 U.S. cities, the Gulf Cartel and the Zetas at least 37 cities, Juarez has been established in 33 cities, that of the Beltrán Leyva in 30, "La Familia Michoacana" in at least 27, and Tijuana in 21 cities.

Without specifying the names of the cities that identifies members of the cartels, the warning of the NDIC assures that these cities have seem an increase of the sale of drugs and also violence.

"It is no wonder that the south of the border region is on fire and we have reason to be concerned about the cartel-related violence, because we worry that violence will span to the US as the cartels continue to battle for control of drug trafficking routes from Mexico to the United States, and also the control drug trafficking inside the US."

He attended the seminar and got the t-shirt, the arrest after the raid on the Zeta training camp.

Unlike previous reports of the operation of franchises in the U.S. by Mexican cartels, the alert advises that there is now evidence that family members of drug trafficking organizations of lower and middle level members have settled in US territory especially in the southwest region of the United States-Mexico border.

Tracking suspects
The security agencies of the United States have started to seek information of the identity of people who are involved with criminal organizations or cartels of Mexico already within the United States.

Alerts are preventive communicative measures that the U.S. government broadcasts to their agencies with respect to reliable information about an event and for that reason gives notice to their staff.

The so-called high level or classified information reach only the top circle of the United States government, but there are other sources of information that are distributed to the ground operatives and in some cases are made public through web sites, like the alerts for travel advisory by the U.S. State Department.

The report in question was dated March 27, 2011 and distributed to embassies and border entry points on April 4, 2011.

The alert was sent to U.S. agencies under the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security to identify members of the cartels that are crossing regularly across the border or even those who cross on a visa but settled on US soil.

It is in the same way as the case of members of the Mara Salvatrucha and members of other street gangs from Central America that enter the United States, the report states that officials should consider checking for necklaces with symbols used by the drug cartels, leather jackets, Tattoos and other jewelry related to symbols that identify members of criminal organizations in Mexico.

The alert issued by the National Drug Intelligence does not specify whether there have been any arrests of cartel members in the US, but it claims it based on evidence from intelligence and will maintain surveillance at ports of international entry, especially from land and air.

  1. These stories kind of confuse me, I mean, who did these guys think were handing business for the cartels ten years ago? 15 years ago? These people have been operating here since their birth, Sinaloa and Arellano, and Gulf and Juarez have had assets and people in the US for like 20 years now.

  2. really makes me like the thought of 15 million illegals in the USA..

just great ...all our attention is focused on people who, if we would leave them alone would be no threat at all...

while our back door has fallen off the hinges

  3. As of 2009 Mexican cartels have been in every state of the union

Before that for at least 15 years. WHat I have noticed that territories have seem to be established (states and partial state)somehow, either by design or accident.

  4. If it wasn't for the Mexico and U.S. landscapes being connected together on one land, crossing between countries on foot is impossible and drug smugglings would be less unless richest drug kingpins buy planes, helicoptrs, submarines, etc... in order to ship drugs to another country.. with lots of money, kingpins can always find ways to import drugs to foreign countries.

Todo se les salió de control,...... (Violence is around the corner!).... así es el capitalismo ya en su última etapa!

  7. I'm having some work done at the house and the contractor has Mexican labor. One guy looks shady as hell and has some odd tattoo.. Don't ask me how or why I'm profiling, just trust me I'm a good judge of character and I find this one kid odd, rambunctious and irritating. Shaved, head, tattoos etc. Anyway I was telling the contractor I go to Mexico often and shit is crazy these days. He told me that kid who I suspect is a rotten apple is from Michoacan.

Then he goes on to tell me the kid returned home and was kidnapped, tortured for randsom because they knew he worked in the US. Who knows. I love people that compare US crime to Mexican crime. I don't know any Americans ever kidnapped LOL. I hate the security threat of knowing these people know where I live, what I have. I think the future in the USA we will see a lot more crime carried out by Non US citizens and we can't do anything about it because of radicals on the left afraid to speak the truth of what's really happening here.

  8. As an American citizen I have very much to worry about from my own government, the border "fence" is non existent and has been for many, many years! Makes me think they left it open on purpose! It would have been easy to build a secure fence system the entire length of the border using confiscated drug monies but for some strange unexplainable reason the government decided to leave the border WIDE OPEN for DECADES... Hmmmmmmm, I wonder why?

Then when I look at the actual people that make up the body of congress it makes me very, very afraid! They are all old decrepit career politicians that look more like a geriatric luncheon than a high political body... I watched a video recently of a reporter catching members of congress out in the hall ways between hearings etc and it was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen, to witness how out of touch they all really are, without prepared statements and teleprompters they are completely lost...

It would not surprise me if 95% of them have no idea who Chapo is or the history of Sinaloa and that is very, very scary as an American citizen... I have first hand knowledge from having dealt with "La Familia Michoacana" cartel members on the U.S. side of the border, they have been entrenching themselves for years in every major city within the United States... The U.S. government is so busy looting the pockets of the American people they have not cared about anything else for years now except how they can screw John Q. Public out of another 50 cents and all the while the cancer that is killing Mexico has been spreading like a silent deadly virus...

It is such a complex situation and without on the ground experience and knowledge of how the drug game and cartels work they are just blowing smoke and have no idea what they are up against... A defensive posture just will not work these people have got to be dealt with on a ruthless aggressive level to have any chance at all of stopping this deadly virus from spreading any further... America had better wake up and take a hard close look at what is REALLY going on right under their noses... - Grande Goat Horn

  12. The laws do not stop drug use. Just like Prohibition, laws prohibiting use of any substance only make the substance extremely valuable. Legalize all drugs. Anyone dumb enough to use them will simply die and the problem is solved, Then they won't have to steal to get money for drugs. The drugs are cheap! Being illegal makes them expensive.

  13. I believe there is a typo in paragraph 4 of the article. It appears it should read 286 cities, not 286,000 cities. Or is the 286,0000 figure refer to number of members? Please clarify.

I TOTALLY AGREE BRO!!! THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THAT IS THAT YOU HAVE THESE LEFT WINGERS THAT BELIEVE IN PUSHING MORAL BELIEFS ON OTHERS WHEN IT IS PROVEN YOU CAN'T.....AND THEN THERE IS THE OTHER HALF OF THE PROBLEM WHICH IS THE PRIDE THAT CALDERON AND THE U.S. AND MEXICAN GOVERNMENTS CAN'T SWALLOW BECAUSE OF THE YEARS THEY HAVE WASTED AND MONEY THEY HAVE SPENT ON ALL THESE SO CALLED "DRUG WARS." THEY WOULDN'T WANT TO ADMIT THEY LOST AND THEY HAD IT ALL WRONG......ITS ALL ABOUT THE PRIDE! ITS KINDA SAD!

  16. @ 8:12 you've never heard of an american citizen kidnapping another person? some of these right wingers are seriously dumb. whether you are xenophobic or pro immigrant, one thing we can all agree on is Hispanics have been and will remain part of the united states. as much as it irritates the xenophobes, hispanics will continue to live their lives and prosper. and as far as losing english in favor of spanish, my brothers are second generation and they barely speak spanish. we are not going ANYWHERE.

  18. 12:02, the USA Today Right Wingers get their little rocks off by always working themselves up into a frenzied lather about supposedly being surrounded in the US by radicals of the Left (milquetoast garden variety liberal Democrats mainly), undocumented workers, petty criminals, and supposed Islamic terrorists. They are the biggest cry baby wusses one could ever imagine to find in the universe! Nobody ever wants to be as tough as they imagine their own wimpy asses to be!

Their very lives are being threatened always and its by those who don't go into the police, Pentagon, and other shit head uniformed brigades (Migra, prison guard units, etc.) that they love and adore. Their trillion $$$$$$$ national security state welfared and militarized Disneyland USA dictates that the Mexican drug cartels must begin to be seen 'invading' the US. Then these Rightists can perhaps more openly appear in public with their Brown Shirts on while pledging allegiance to the flag under one nation and God and blahblahblah.. we duh blessed.
