Zeta Interrogation; Comandante R1

This is the newest video in the series of CDG interrogation videos. On the previous video I covered, the identity of the captors was unknown, until a lot of people started claiming that the man behind the voice in the video was none other than Comandante R1 (Major R1) who is a high ranking officer in the CDG cartel.

This man has been around for a long time and even has corridos to his name. First question in my mind on the previous video was, why if the captives claim that they gave in to the military forces, how did they end up in the hands of the CDG? Intriguing question if you ask me.

The voice behind the video is the same voice behind the previous video "The Sad Reality Of Los Zetas", but if that wasn't enough the second soldier from left to right seems to resemble the "Small Helmet Soldier" who appears in the previous video as well. The helmet he is using seems to be to small for his head, which makes it stand out. Well here for you guys once again, I provide you with the dialogue of the video translated in English.

Comandante R1
"Well, this time we do this for Mexico to see what the group "Zetas" are.
They stopped being a group of "Sicarios" and are now a group of terrorists.
Here you have some people that they use to harm the society. How?
By throwing grenades at the people, at the mayor's offices, and at women and children.
Their mission is to cause fear."

Comandante R1
"So here you have it, the confession of each one of them.
Let's see.. You fatso, what did they have you doing?"

Zeta Captive #5
"Throwing grenades to the politi.. police, the police and to burn women and children, better for them. I work for Major Chino who works out of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon."

Comandante R1
"How much where they paying you fatso"

Zeta Captive #5
"He had paid me 1,000 pesos."

Comandante R1
"For 1,000 pesos you are doing that. Throwing grenades. Yes?"

Zeta Captive #5
"For 1,000 pesos I regret it"

Comandante R1
"You regret doing that to Society?"

Zeta Captive #5
"I regret it. I regret doing that"

Comandante R1
"And you fatso, how much do they pay you"

Zeta Captive #3
"4,000 pesos"

Comandante R1
"4,000 pesos"

Zeta Captive #3
"Yes"

Comandante R1
"Every week?"

Zeta Captive #3
"Yes"

Comandante R1
"You think that's right, throwing grenades"

Zeta Captive #3
"No"

Comandante R1
"Do you regret what you did to society?"

Zeta Captive #3
"Yes, I do regret it"

Comandante R1
"You Skinny.."

Zeta Captive #1
"They paid me 2,000 pesos to store their arsenal in my house"

Comandante R1
"For storing their arsenal in your house?"

Zeta Captive #1
"Yes and I regret it"

Comandante R1
"Well here you have it, each one of this men just confessed to being guilty of harming our society. They say they regret it now, but now it is too late. We are coming for you 40, Lazcano. The Cartel del Golfo is coming for you. We are going to look for you wherever you are, wherever you lay.

Society itself will look for you. You have killed too many innocent people and done a lot of damage. We are coming for you. You betrayed those who made you and we are coming for you. Wherever you lay, we are coming for you."

In this one the thing that sounds out the most is the first question in the session. The person behind the camera asked "And you fatso?", the man quickly starts answering, but the problem is that he stutters the word, not the kind of stuttering you do when you're in fear, but the kind of stuttering you do when you're trying to read something off a dumby card and just can't quite read it.

Now let's go back to Comandante R1, or Major R1. This person is a big figure behind the organization and has been for a long time. If you listen to El Corrido De Los Zetas by Beto Quintanilla, the first person in the opening says, "Aqui El Comandante R1, reportense señores" which means, "Major R1 here, report in gentlemen".

Bottom line, you can sense the power and authority that this man gives out when he speaks. Now I can't be sure that he is indeed Major R1, but that is what is going around and certain people have told me, but I can personally tell you, he is not just some "Sicario"..

Let me remind you guys, this are all things I concluded, so basically my speculations. Although that is what gets me in trouble at the end of the day, it's part of the job. Hope you all like the piece..

Here is the video guys, for those who want to see it.

  1. Maka...

  7. The man behind the camera says "vamos por ti 40...lazcano." Just to clarify, Lazcano is, of course, Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano - head of los zetas, and 40 is Miguel Angel Treviño Morales - another important figure in los zetas (I believe he acts as the gate keeper of Nuevo Laredo city), right? Well, then the man behind the camera proceeds to say that "...te vamos a buscar hasta donde estes, hasta donde te heches..." His word usage indicates he is referring to one person. "TE vamos a buscar" as opposed to saying "LOS vamos a buscar" since lazcano and 40 are 2 different individuals...by using TE he makes it seem like 40 and lazcano are one in the same...may be I'm just over analyzing things...idk, just a thought.

Or may be the man behind the camera is speaking to both men but personalizes the message by only saying "vamos por TI." Kind of like the uncle sam poster - the man is pointing out at the audience and right below the man it reads "i want you."

AND THANKS FOR POSTING THE VIDEO! YOU DON'T SEE ANY OF THIS STUFF BEING REPORTED ON THE NEWS! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! :)

  8. Rumors that Z 40 and Lazcano are no longer best of friends. Apperantly Z-40 wanted to take control of zetas. If you see all recent threats are directed to Z 40 from rival groups.
